Tried and Tested -:Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunblock

I recently picked up Neutrogena's Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock after my best friend recommended it. With the temperatures soaring in Bombay and sunscreen being a preventive measure against ageing.
After picking it up for Rs 135 MRP -150 from Beauty Center this product lives up to its name. Not only did it not run off like the previous sunscreen I used but was extremely light on my skin.
and didn't feel like I had a thick goopy cream on.
Would I buy this? For 30 ml 135 isn't that bad and considering just a little needs to be applied I think its definitely worth it.

Currently Coveting:- Oscar de La Renta 22 Karat Bib Necklace

On my currently coveting Oscar de la Rentas 22 Karat Bib necklace. Would love to own one of these babies. Can instantly polish up a drab black tee and jeans combo or glam up an LBD.
Have a feeling Aldo has a similar necklace.

A Slice of Bombay :- Nariman Point

Aside from fashion, My other passion is photography. With this blog Ill capture some of Bombay's most iconic scenery.
This particular place i.e Nariman Point is the financial point of Mumbai. The retail value of land here rivals most cosmopolitan cities such as Tokyo and New York.

I Love Lucite

I am not a bag person, and I'm slowly beginning to be a shoe person. (Imelda Marcos is a long way off) I am however a jewellery person. I buy anything that catches my whim or dig into my Mom's awesome junk jewellery colllection spanning from the 60s to the 90s. Trips to Colaba Causeway, Goa's Tibetean market result in my accessory drawer bursting at its seams.
The aftermath of the Spring Summer shows such as Chanel, Micheal Kors and Fendi all displayed lucite jewellery. My favourite being the Micheal Kors necklace (pictured above). The necklace is perfect as it can be teamed with any colour/fabric. An end to my mix -match woes!!
Now if only I can find a replica!!

Elle India April 2010 : Laxmi Menon

I admit, I am biased towards Elle India. They have both great content and beautiful editorials. However when it comes to covers I'm not, out of all of the April covers I love the Laxmi cover, the masthead colour stands out as well it exudes summer.
What do you think?

Everyone Is Wearing White Dresses

Summer is usually associated with sweat, sunglasses and copious amounts of ice cream. Shorts and sandals are a wardrobe staple. A new trend has emerged with celebrities sporting little white dresses. As seen on Reese and style maven SJP. Closer home Sonam Kapoor wore a James Ferreira outfit to a L'Oreal event and Katrina wore one to an IPL match. Glammed up with heels or toned downed with sandals, a little white dress is certainly a wardrobe staple must!

Vogue India April 2010- Tinu Verghis,Gia Johnson,Nethra Raghuraman

Summer usually advents a model cover for all fashion magazines as Bollywood stars can't shed their inhibitions and don a swimsuit. Vogue India combined some of the most recognizable Indian models and shot them in Goa. I still prefer Vogue India's cover with Laxmi Menon in neon orange. However I am not complaining. I love models on the cover, however I find their story on dusky skin such a farce. All Indian models are photoshopped to look fair. Case in point Carol Gracious who is known to be dusky appears wheatish. Shame isn't it?
