While Sex and the City 2 may have crashed and burned, and just when we mourned the loss of fabulous fashion Eric Daman saved the day. Blair and Serena paint Paris red clad from the likes of Moschino, Gucci to Zuhair Murad Couture! Print Clashes, shorts and flouncy skirts seem to be the order of the day.

The look I would love to channel? Serena's tailored shorts and bold necklace. Definitely a favourite!

First Look -: Christian Dior Haute Couture A/W 2010

John Galliano is one of the few designers adept at using bold colours and theatrics. Held at the famed Musee Rodin, Galliano gave a whole new meaning to the term 'flower power'. Models walked down the ramp with cellophane around their heads mimicking bouquet wrappers. Inspired by Christian Dior's Tulip collection, technicolour gowns and dresses with realms of tulle and frill reminiscent of various hued flowers in a garden.

Truly, a beautiful collection.

My personal favourite ? The white dress with blue blotting.

Book Pick- Fashion Jewellery:Catwalk and Couture -Maia Adams

I love jewellery. Real or fake nothing gets me more excited than seeing earrings, rings and bracelets ( well, maybe perfume.) The bigger the better! I recently discovered this book, at Crossword which features some of the biggest names in jewellery design, such as Alexis Bittar and Bless.

The book talks about the designers collaboration with various design houses such as Lanvin and Comme des Garçons. It also mentions the various materials they collaborate with such as resin lucite, wood etc.

The most interesting part of the book was reading how a certain designer was inspired by chicken bones and made pieces of jewellery out of discarded chicken bones from lunch!

This is one book that is so inspirational and well written and a definite pick up the next time I am in Crossword.

McQueen Resort 2010

The resort collection is the first with new creative director Sarah Burton at the helm of Alexander McQueen. The result was an exquisite collection that stayed true to the brand's DNA. The collection essentially McQueen's but having a shadow of femininity stamped by Burton. The latest collection has certainly whet the appetites of the fashion fraternity.

Unveiled :Tom Ford Eyewear -Nicholas Hoult and Freja Beha Erichsen

Tom Ford is synonymous with sex and shock value. Recently unveiling his Fall/ Winter eyewear campaign Ford roped in A Single Man's Nicholas Hoult and a slight departure from his usual female leads Freja Beha Erichsen. The campaign is a twisted take, a mixture of Hitchcock's The Birds and Tom's take on blatant sexuality.

Nicholas is wearing Tom Ford eyewear as well as menswear.
