Resort is a relatively unknown a few years ago in India, however with Lakme India Fashion introducing Resort wear lines. As the name suggests this line is designed specifically for holidays ( read St. Tropez or St. Barts) and hits stores before a little before the holiday season.I love the understated glamour and easy chic vibe resort wear gives out.Unusual pairings have totally inspired me to reinvent my wardrobe. I'm taking a cue from Doo Ri's line (pic 1 ) by pairing a draped dress with a blazer. Textured skirt and jacket from Viktor and Rolf (pic 3) Coloured pop jackets and shorts from Dsquared (pic 5) Sleek minimalism from Celine. God bless you Pheobe! Colour blocking seen at Moschino , florals on florals at Kenzo and lastly my favourite collection has to be Jason Wu and the opening look, a white blouse buttoned to the top and shorts so effortless so fab!
